i wake up and i smile.
i see sunshine. it’s warm and bright.
no nightmares during the night.
even the dark feels safe.

WHERE:

i’m at a place that welcomes me
and that’s how i feel — safe and welcome.
it makes me smile.

WHAT:

we live together, day by day.
so i wake up with a smile and get up to make everyone feel as safe and welcome as they make me feel safe and welcome.
